James Brown
Missouri attorney James R. Brown has devoted his career to helping the average, hard working American battle the giant credit industry. He grew his practice in the field of bankruptcy, helping families get relief from the burdens of debt. He has taken that same drive and determination to battle the insurance companies that take advantage of families who have been involved in serious car and truck accidents, suffered injuries on the job, been the victim of a deficient vehicle, or had children involved in serious accidents.
He has lived his entire life in the St. Louis area and currently resides in St. Charles. He has been married for 25 years and has three wonderful children – Ryan, Tyler and Devyn. He also has two dogs – Arthur & Charlie. His hobbies include golf, travel and reading. He has been involved in youth hockey for the past ten years as a coach and as a member of two youth hockey boards serving the St. Louis community.
Jonathan Bocklage
Jonathan practices in the areas of Consumer Bankruptcy, Personal Injury, Workers’ Compensation, Dog Bite cases, and Criminal Defense. Jonathan has been with Castle Law Office for quite a while and, with each year that passes, he seems to fill more and more roles. Whether he is protecting client’s property at a motion docket or working with an insurance adjuster to make sure that a car accident victim’s medical bills can be paid, he is surely working hard.
Jonathan’s favorite part of his job (and perhaps your favorite part of his job!) is completing a personal injury or workers’ compensation case. To Jon, “It’s more than winning. As a person who has been injured before, I know that closing that door so you can move on with your life is the best relief you can truly find. I love to help people get that feeling.”
Jonathan has a wonderful fiancé who works to obtain employment for individuals with disabilities and a black labrador retriever to fill his life when he takes a break from his active role as a “workaholic.” Jonathan is known around the office as a sports fanatic—as evidenced by his first place victory in our office football pool. He is an avid rugby fan and is hoping he can get back to playing on the “old boys squad,” a group of semi-retired players. He has recently been pouring his time and energy into his growing collection of Jazz and Blues records to play on his classic record player. Jon said of his new hobby, “Some songs just sound better on vinyl.”
