CASTLE LAW OFFICE SUPPORTS OPRAH’S NO PHONE ZONE
St. Louis, MO. (Aug. 17th, 2010). The employees of Castle Law Office of St. Louis, P.C. have come out in support of Oprah’s ‘No Phone Zone,’ a program dedicated to preventing distracted driving.
Much of the program is centered on not texting while driving. On her website, she has included a pledge to be signed by anyone willing to commit to not using their phones in at least some capacity. The campaign is part of a larger battle against distracted driving, which kills more than 6,000 people a year and injures more than half a million.
“Distracted driving is a real killer. We’ve seen this problem over and over in our house and feel that we need to do our due diligence to combat it,” explained James Brown, president of Castle Law Office. “We’re taking the pledge and we’re asking our friends and family to do the same. This is highly preventable—and it needs to be at the top of Missouri drivers’ minds.”
Castle Law Office invites you to take the pledge to not use your phone while driving with Oprah’s No Phone Zone at http://www.oprah.com/packages/no-phone-zone.html. For more information on texting while driving in Missouri, please visit www.TheMissouriInjuryLawyer.com. Be safe out there!
