21 year old Ashley Brenner was killed after the SUV she was riding in ran a stop sign and was hit by another vehicle at the intersection of Holly Hills and January Ave on Monday, July 5th. The driver, whose name was not released, said that he had been in an argument with Brenner, causing him to be distracted. Brenner was ejected from the vehicle and killed.
52 year old Robert Hovis, of High Ridge, was killed after a car accident on Hillsboro Valley Park Road, near Dillon road in Jefferson County. 28 year old Jessica Koen, of Waterloo Illinois, died in a car accident on Wednesday, May 12th. She was driving on Route 158 near East Centreville Road in Monroe County when her car went off the road and landed into a ditch. Koen was ejected from the car after it flipped and killed immediately. She was reported to have not been wearing a seat belt.
