A Glen Carbon crash on Interstate 270 resulted in the serious injury of three young people yesterday. Edwardsville driver Christopher Endsley lost control of his 2004 Chrysler Sebring after attempting to pass, hitting the median and the eastbound traffic. Endsley hit a 1995 Chevrolet Camaro which was carrying Desiree Bagan and two children, 15 and 9 years old. The driver, James Doty Sr. was not injured. The three passengers, however, were airlifted to St. Louis hospitals. Endsley was indeed ticketed for improper lane usage and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident. Continue reading
