St. Louis Police Officer Killed in Multi-Car Accident at Intersection on Kingshighway

A St. Louis City Police Officer, David Haynes, was killed while in pursuit of a burglary suspect on Wednesday. Haynes had spotted the suspect, turned on his lights and sirens, and began to chase the suspect when he was struck at the intersection of Oleatha and Kingshighway by a 21 year old driving a GMC Jimmy. The initial collision spun Haynes car, which was then hit by a Nissan Xterra. Haynes did not survive the accident. Continue reading

Motorcyclist Killed by Distracted Driver on Olive Boulevard in Creve Coeur

Judy Tran was driving east on Olive Boulevard in Creve Coeur when she lost control of her car, running into a concrete pillar and a motorcyclist. The motorcyclist, David Null, was killed. Tran had reportedly lost control of her car after attempting to wake up her front passenger. She was charged with involuntary manslaughter, second-degree assault and possession of marijuana.
