A man from St. Louis County was killed over the weekend, after the van he was a passenger in, had a tire blow-out and sent the vehicle out of control and rolling off Interstate 55, says KSDK.
The crash occurred Saturday morning around 7:15 a.m. south of Jackson in Cape Girardeau County. Killed was 49 year old Charles Burnes of Fenton.

On January 13th at 3:00pm a four car accident occurred in St. Louis County southbound on Interstate 55 North of Union. Troop C of the Missouri State Highway Patrol responded to the accident. The accident began when a 2006 Chevrolet Cobalt driven by Sally Cabbot (64) lost control while switching lanes.
